THE DREAMS FULFILLED

Hey there, First of all, a big thank you to each one of you reading this blog, and to all those who have been regularly reading my blogs. I hope it has been an enjoyable experience for all of you. Personally, I have learnt a lot over the last year or so, and writing these blogs has been fun!  I would love to have your suggestions for making my blog more professional. It was a big day for all cricket aficionados. India was taking on Pakistan in the Asia Cup; a contest which was set to grab eyeballs from across the world. Moreover, the fact that India seldom plays Pakistan added to the intense build-up to that match. Ironically, the week gone by had soured the relationship between the two neighbouring countries. This was primarily because the Foreign Minister of India had cancelled a scheduled meeting with her counterpart from Pakistan. I won’t get into deep political issues which led to that decision; but the fact of the matter was that the match had also gained centrestage because of the intense political drama which preceded it. I turned on the television and found that a reporter was trying to engage fans outside the stadium. The match was being held in the UAE, which has a mixture of Indians as well as Pakistanis. These were the exact words used by the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, early morning on 24th September 2018. This was just before the official declaration of the Presidential Elections held on 23rd September 2018. There was a lot of chatter before the election took place that incumbent President Abdullah Yameen might rig the elections. But, things panned out differently, and democracy prevailed. It was a warm afternoon in the month of April, and I was simply passing my time watching a few videos on YouTube. Being an avid cricket follower, when I saw Gaurav Kapoor having an interaction with Virat Kohli at ‘ Breakfast With Champions ’, I decided to watch it. In that video, I saw a different version of Virat Kohli. Usually, all of us perceive Virat to be aggressive and full of intent. But, alongside a wonderful host like Gaurav Kapoor, he beautifully narrated the various events of his life. When I heard that he trained for over four hours in the Gym (excluding his training on the field) everyday, I was left amazed. It is his consistency which has got him all his success. Read on to find out what it exactly means...    We all are indeed blessed to have taken birth in such a beautiful planet, where so many tiny and big creatures exist together. God has given us so much to cherish, such that we will never be able to thank Him enough.               There are many human virtues which hold a lot of  importance in modern society.  Here are three such values which can be summed up in the acronym GAS .
